TSTR#171 Ruffles and Ribbons

I'm so happy to be the guest designer this month at The Shabby Tea Room.  If you love lots of layers of lace and trims and shabby chic goodness then the Shabby Tea Room is the perfect place for you to find some happiness.   There's always lots of eye candy sure to make you drool.   Here's the inspiration photo for this week.  You are instructed to make a project using pink and green and add a ruffle and some ribbon.

Since June is traditionally known for weddings  I've been making all my cards for this month at The Shabby Tea Room wedding themed.  A  wedding card is the perfect excuse to get creative lots of trims and embellishments.

I went straight for this Spellbinder heart die (one of my first Spellbinders ever) and I framed it with some ruffled ribbon.  I just put some double sided tape on the back and attached the trim.  To keep it poofy I attached the heart to the base of the card with adhesive foam.    I thought the satin hot pink was a great contrast to the soft pink in the design.  The watermark stamp  is soft and romantic.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek!  Have a beautiful day!!

Hugs!
Jeanne
