SSCB#11 Take A Rest

Hi everybody!  I hope you are having a great day!  Spring weather is upon is in the Midwest - and oh so unpredictable - one day it is hotter than heck, and the very next I'm wanting to turn the furnace on.  Add in a few rain showers and you know where I'm coming from.   Today marks the start of a new challenge at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.   The theme this time is a masculine card and you have two weeks to play.  One random winner will receive a $20 discount off their next Serendipity Stamps order.

Ok, because I live in Indiana - think flat lands here folks - and it is Spring - I thought a nice tractor would be in order.  The hardest part was deciding if I should color it red like a Harvester or green like a Deere.  Well I am no farmer - so I'm in no position to debate the praises of one or the other.  Dang it!  I just like the color red so there you go!
I hope you'll join us and play along.  If you need a little inspiration there's loads to be had from the Design Team.  You can check out their manly projects by clicking on their names below!

The sale of the week at Serendipity Stamps is   now through  May.  If you missed the new releases preview you will want to check out the new dies and stamps available here.
Thanks for stopping by - have a beautiful day and stop to smell the flowers!!

  1. Fab image and sentiment Jeanne, and great papers too!
The same here for us with the weather - Was freezing here up until the end of last week, had a good couple of days sunshine and warmth, and now, it's raining!

  2. Your tractor looks really good with just the red colored piece...there is enough detail with the stamp that it doesn't need any other coloring! My kind of stamp! I love the colored burlap ribbon and that you used the stitched mat to stamp your image. I'm no farmer either, but I also love the red!
