Serendipity Stamps Spring Release

We've got more new releases to show you today from Serendipity Stamps.  These are perfect for Spring!  Think beautiful swirly flowers!!  You will want to check this out because more prizes are to be had!  Each member of the design team has been assigned a different stamp to work with so you can see them all - and one complete set of all the new stamps featured today will be given away to one lucky winner.  I got to work with the new Fern Garden stamp that you see featured on my projects today.   The Fern Garden is perfect as  a border for an A2 (4.25 x 5.5") card like the one shown above, and would be beautiful as a scrapbook page border.

It was easy to stamp and color with Copic Markers.  I drew over the stems with a very light green to add color and shadow.   I also colored around the flowers with a lighter shade than the flower color.  I wanted to let the stamps do all the talking this time so I kept them clean and simple.

For my second card I did a double border (one along the top, and the other along the bottom) with a sentiment placed in the center.  You can see the outline coloring really well in this close up.   I added a few pearls to the flower centers and some butterflies for fun!  I layered both cards on colored card stock to highlight one of the colors in the flowers.
I hope you will check out the rest of the design team examples made with the new stamps!  Just click on their names below.  And please leave a comment.  One lucky winner will receive a complete set of all the new stamps featured today!  You have until 5-5-13   to leave a comment to be included in the drawing.   The winner will be announced on 5-6-13 on the Serendipity Stamps blog.
