12 Kits of Holidays - February Edition

Welcome to the February Edition of the 12 Kits of the Holidays.   Here's how it works... there are 12 designers each assigned one month of the year.  The hostess of the month creates a "kit" to send to the other 11 members.  We all receive the same kit to work with and post our creations on the last day of the month.  It's fun and interesting to see the different ways we all use the same supplies.  The group originally started by making Christmas cards every month as a way to get ready for the holiday.  This year we are trying something different and alternating between other holidays and Christmas.

This month we're celebrating Christmas and our hostess is Renee from It's a Patchwork Life.  Renee gave us stamped and precut images from Waltzingmouse Stamps along with pretty paper from Echo Park, and lots of die cuts and trims.    Just check out the photo of all the goodies!  This kit was so well put together with everything well coordinated that cards were really easy to assemble.  I made FIVE this time and I think I could have kept going!

Now for the fun part - showing you everything I put together with this fun kit.

Whew!  Tired yet? I hope not because lots more beautiful creations are just a mouse click away!  Check out the designs from the rest of the group!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!!

Jeanne

  5. These are all so fun and beautiful. I see a trend towards CAS with you and this kit, and it's very becoming. It's like CAS--Jeanne style--with lots of color, and of course, a giant bow!

  6. Jeanne all of your cards are fabulous! I love how you put the star border strip down the centre of your first card and that green star is fantastic with that paper. You combined all of the patterned papers together perfectly and of course you rocked the ribbons. Now your burlap bow is so so gorgeous! I wish you could teach me.

  7. Gorgeous, Jeanne! Wow, you have the perfect touch when it comes to combining patterned papers! Wish I could do that. More than two patterns seem to overwhelm me!! I love them all but I'm in awe of your first 'PEACE' card! Perfectly CAS and that bow is just awesome!!

  8. Jeanne, your cards are so beautiful but then I knew they would be. Your bow is beautiful and I love that you alternated colors of letters for peace too and it looks fabulous on that star border. My favorite card is your first one, your choice of patterned paper looks beautiful with the green star.

  9. These are all incredible, as always! The layered stars, the mix of papers, the burlap bow, and the fabulous "peace" banner over the doily. Love them all, Jeanne!

  10. Wow Jeanne!!! Those two peace cards are simply amazing! I love how you made the one into banners, and then how you mixed up the colors of the letters, it makes them look so festive :) And then that HUGE burlap bow is simply divine :)

  11. Ok, here's the thing....If I would have used that burlap ribbon like that, it would have been a total mess!! Your bow is PERFECTION at its best.....and thanks to you I know how you make them! But it's that last card that steals my heart....a true Jeanne card. You mixed and matched all those elements to such a blended beauty!!! Your little peace banner atop that kraft doily and layered with those star die cuts....=LOVE. Thank you for such wonderful inspiration Jeanne!
