12 Kits of Christmas - October Edition

Are you ready for another edition of the 12 Kits of Christmas?  We are a group of 12 card makers / designers.  Every month one of us puts together a package of supplies to mail to the other 11 members.  We all receive the same supplies and post our creations on the last day of the month.  It is always interesting to see the different ways we will all use the same products!

The hostess with the mostest this month is Jessica from The Paper Parade!  She supplied so many goodies that I had a hard time knowing when to stop.  In fact I have lots of colored up images ready to go once I decide who's card I'm going to case :)  All the stamps are from Paper Smooches and they were so fun to work with!  I made lots of cards so I will keep this short.  I love the Polaroid of Santa, but my favorite is the one with the clothes pinned ornaments.

I even made my first CASE card this time.  Because I like to layer and add lots of embellies I don't usually have a lot left over to play with.  For this one I used supplies left over from all the different kits.

Here's Kara's card:

Here's my version
I hope you will hop on over to the other 12 Kits of Christmas designer blogs to see what they came up with this fabulous bunch of goodies!  Just click on their names below to jump to their blog.

  1. I don't even know where to start. You did such an incredible job with these images--you really should be on the PS DT as well. I love how you did the santa--he really is a cool friend, I'm impressed that you used the clothes pins--I'm hoarding them, and your money/gift card holder is just perfect. It looks like you distressed that hexagon impressed paper, and I want to try that as well.

  3. I am going to be writing all day trying to cover everything I love about your cars today Jeanne! My favorite...the first one with the polaroid Santa. The cutest, smartest way to use not only the Santa but the frame. Honestly. That Few Bucks gift card holder...so great, I can not wait to try that myself with the one you sent us in our kit...now I have a visual as an example too. Your Kara CASE is spectacular, blinged up Jeanne-style of course! Great job once again.

  12. Fantastic cards again this month, Jeanne! So many great ideas to CASE here. :) That striped bow on your first card is amazing, and I love the jingle bell accents. I had no idea how to use the clothespins, but now I do! What a cute use of them with the ornaments. But I think my favorite is the snowman with the glittered snow drifts and hexagon background. So beautiful!

As always your bows are so awesome and really make your cards stand out. Your money envelope is so adorable in all the pink, such a fun way to give money.
