Today we are having a surprise birthday bloghop for Kara from KandRDesigns {Life is Sweet}. I haven't know Kara too long - I met her through the 12 Kits of Christmas. Kara has a clean and simple style that I admire. Since I don't know her as well as I would like I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make a special card just for her. I decided to honor her and celebrate her day by CASEing one of her creations. While I was scoping out all her blog I saw photos from her recent vacation, and decided to go "tropical". Here is her card that I fell in love with. I like the fun banners and the clean way that the sentiment shines. I laughed when I read that she is not a big fan of sewing because the sewing machine and I will never see eye to eye. She had a unique approach to the stitching, but I think mine was easier :) since I just stamped it on! Kara.. this one is for you!!

Jeanne, this is just amazing. I am always in awe of what you do and this is no exception. I love the paper , that bird is so sweet and your colorful banner and those roses, just as sweet as Kara.
