Merry Christmas Poinsettias

Today I'm playing along at the Krafty Chicks Challenge where this time it's all about Christmas!

My card starts with the Waffle Flower Holly Jolly die that I inked with Distress Ink using the coordinating stencil. I wish you could see this in person.. the crisp die cut and bright ink is prettier than pattern paper.

I topped the inky panel with die cut poinsettias using the Poinsettia Cluster die set. The set does not include leaves for the poinsettias. I just cut the flower from green cardstock and cut apart the petals for leaves.

The Merry Christmas Print die makes a bold statement and finishes off the design.

I cut the flowers from hot pink for a fresh look on the design. This allowed me to add the sentiment in red. Everything coordinates beautifully with the stenciled background.
