Hello Spring

Spring is in the air! I'm enjoying the change of seasons in my little part of the world. Yellow Daffodils are in bloom, orange breasted Robins have returned, and the days have gotten longer. The Pink and Main Bloom With Joy images are a breath of fresh air after a long winter.

I always start my cards the same way. I arrange the images on a piece of clear plastic the size of my card base. In the case it was the sweet girl and floral above her head. Then I start tweeking things. I added flowers around her so she looks like she's sitting in the garden.

I like the clear plastic sheet so I can slide different backgrounds underneath to see a "preview" of the finished card before I commit and adhere everything in place.

I added a stenciled panel of yellow cardstock with a Deco stencil print underneath. But I changed my mind again, and added some layers... a Zig Zag Rectangle in white and a yellow card base.

A bit of bling is always welcome so the finishing touch is a few Starlight Gems. I hope you find some time to get outside and see what you discover today that inspires you!
