Dotty Christmas Tree

Hi Friends! Sorry I've been missing a bit lately. My dad's out of the hospital, but we've been back to the emergency room twice and there's lots of doctors visits and therapy to get him back in shape. Today I'm playing along at Dragonfly Dreams where they're looking for Christmas cards.

My card is made with the Waffle Flower Dotty Christmas Tree. I cut it from a white panel of cardstock. This one just cuts dashes and some dots in the shape of a pine tree.

To define the tree I used sticky tape to mask off the triangle tree shape. I used more tape to block off each stripe of the tree to ink with Distress Ink in shades of blue and green.

 

I added a sprinkle of snowflakes using the Small Snowflakes die. The snowflakes are cut from silver glitter paper.

The finishing touch is the addition of yummy enamel dots. They remind me of hard candy every time I see one!
