Circle Butterfly Shaker

Thanks for stopping by! I'm making this one quick! I've been missing a bit lately because my Dad's in the hospital. Mom doesn't drive so I pick her up and we go to visit together. It's been a week now and it feels like longer. One day at a time right?

Today I'm playing along at Dare2bArtzy Challenge where this time they're asking what's your favorite color. I'm being totally honest when I say this.. I don't have a favorite color. I don't seem to gravitate to any particular color over and over - I adore them ALL! Maybe that's why I purchase more than one of most things! LOL!

My card today starts with the Waffle Flower Lacy Squares. I cut the largest scallop square from white cardstock and then cut it again with the out line from the Circle Butterfly set.

The window frame I created is adhered to a blue matt with adhesive foam tape so it's raised. The detail butterfly circle is adhered flat inside the circle, and finally the circle in the center is stamped with a sentiment and raised.

I used lots of scraps to cut the butterflies in rainbow colors. I was able to cut four butterflies at a time because they're all the same size.

The sentiment is from the Thank You stamp set.

I hope you find some time to make today It's my way to wind down and get my focus off of the problems with my Dad that seem overwhelming just now.
