Die cuts are always my favorite so my first card features the FALL BASKET. This die set is a must have! It includes a basket, pumpkins, apples, eggplant, fall leaves and LOTS MORE!
I used up lots of scraps cutting the images from colored cardstock. Another option would be to cut everything from white cardstock and ink it them with markers or distress inks. I inked the edges of some of the images to add some shading.
The "thanks" die cut on this card is from the "GIVE THANKS" script sentiment. Do you recognize that die cut panel background? It's actually the Heart Vines Die. You can't see the heart under the basket. I like to think of different ways to use my dies so I can get more out of them.
My second card was made with the new Potted Sunflowers! I love the sentiment that is included in the set because sunflowers always seem so sunny and bright.
This card starts with an ombre blue background created with the solid stitched border from the Stitched Borders 3 set. I always cut lots of borders at one time. Most of my cardstock is trimmed to A2 size (4.25 x 5.5") to make it more manageable, and I cut three borders at a time. I love the stacked edges sets.
Next I adhered two of the Scallop Circles to the base and topped it with the sentiment that I trimmed into a strip with a paper trimmer.
The sunflowers embellish the sentiment and look like the farmers market! Don't you love the blue with the yellow flowers?
I added some Glossy Accents to the sunflower centers to give them some shine. A few Blue Lagoon Jewels add just the right sparkle.
