Fluffy Puffy Unicorns

Are you ready for some rainbow cuteness? This is one sweet post that is sure to satisfy! I'm playing with the adorable Heffy Doodle Fluffy Puffy Unicorns.

I've been crafting for as along as I can remember, but cardmaking became my obsession about 12 years ago! I can't resist a rainbow of color, crisp die cuts and sweet images to play with. Crafting is my sweet escape!

My card starts with a Distress Oxide background in Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Kitsch Flamingo. The creamy colors are rich and creamy making them perfect for blending.

When I'm making I like to arrange images on a piece of plastic the size of my card front. I can move things around as much as I like before I commit and adhere them in place. I tried fitting all the unicorns on my card but they just wouldn't fit.

Some of the clouds are adhered flat to the card base while others (like the unicorns) are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension to the design and gives the appearance of the unicorns "floating" and "flying".

The images are colored with Copic Markers but any markers will do. I left much of the image white. I thought a coordinating tag would be nice for a little gift bag to accompany the card.
