Whether you just love a good book, or if back to school is on your mind you'll want to play along at the A Place To Start Challenge. This time it's "Anything Goes" with an optional twist of "By The Book".

Waffle Flower's latest release has this challenge covered (LOL) perfectly with new book dies, stamps and this cover die called "Book Cover".

I used sticky notes to mask the books and then inked them with a small cosmetic brush. I applied glossy accents to the stacked books to keep the ink off the pages.

I created a shaker with the Book Cover and layered it over some yellow paper that I stamped the sentiment on. I stamped it a few more times in yellow to create a watermark look and filled the shaker with sequins in brown, red and gold. There's even a few apple sequins in there.

Waffle Flower even has strips of adhesive foam tape in the shop that make creating a shaker easy. If you want to get super easy try a shaker cover that goes over the entire panel.
