I'm typically drawn to the inspiration photo.. the inspiration photo this time is called Seagull Beach. I spy a beautiful sky in shades of pink and coral over a sea of blue and aqua. There's a rocky outcropping with a few seagulls in dark grey silhouette. If you're not loving the photo, don't forget.. there are other ways to play along!

2. The sketch
3. Color challenge
4. Fuse them all together (you clever one!)
It's your choice, but I sure hope that you choose to play!

I put on my thinking cap and decided it was time to get inky! I knew this Moon Bay layered stencil set form Waffle Flower would be just right!
I used Distress Oxide inks because they're a little more forgiving.. meaning that I could move the stencil if it wasn't lined up just right and add a little more ink. In fact my stencil didn't cover the card font so I added a mask of washi and added a black inky strip along the bottom.
I cut the sentiment from the inky panel and added layers of white word die cuts underneath to make the sentiment pop a little. Little Flying Gulls die cuts from Memory Box are the finishing touch!
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see how you interpret the inspiration photo OR the sketch. Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.
I hope I see you at Fusion Card Challenge! It's a great place to play and make new friends! I'm always inspired by the team as well as the linked up designs!
