I'm typically drawn to the inspiration photo.. this time I spy a straw hat embellished with colorful florals and a pretty bow.. It's hanging on a door.. what a beautiful welcome for visitors! There are three ways to play along!
2. The sketch
3. Fuse them all together (you clever one!)
It's your choice, but I sure hope that you choose to play!
I wanted to reproduce that hat! Not the easiest thing because I didn't have a bonnet die. I decided to try to make my own! I cut two scalloped circles - one for the base/rim of the hat and a smaller one for the crown. I embossed the top and lifted it with adhesive foam tape.
I embellished the hat with pretty florals from the Floral Cake Pop Up Easel, and a Grosgrain Bow die cut. I couldn't fit the "hello" on the hat so it sits just below.
The Geometric Deco Background Panel is a nod to the leaded glass panel on the door in the photo. No brown woodgrains here.. you know I can't do neutrals LOL!
Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see how you interpret the inspiration photo OR the sketch. Maybe you need a little more inspiration? Check out designs from the rest of the team. Just click on their names below to jump to their blogs.
I hope I see you at Fusion Card Challenge! It's a great place to play and make new friends! I'm always inspired by the team as well as the linked up designs!
