Countdown to Confetti Day 1Sunny Flower, Hot Foils

It's a great day for a visit! We're counting down to Confetti a little late this month which gave us a little extra time to enjoy the 4th of July holiday. But now we're back to making and showing you this beautiful new release that will be available in the store on July 15 when we'll be celebrating with a blog hop.

  

Today we're showing you the new Sunny Flower and YES!!! Hot Foil Dies! My first card features the Sunny Flower (that reminds me of a Clematis). It's a three layer stamped image.. the solid floral, the outline and the lined center of the flower.

There is also a two layer flower center that you can add separately. It would also look nice as an unstamped solid cardstock center.

I have several Clematis in my yard and they love to climb.. so I added a Cross Tiles Cover Panel to look like a garden lattice panel.

The sentiment is from the Sunny Flower set and is stamped on a panel that's adhered across the design.

We're revealing some new hot foil dies this release too. This is the Birthday Wishes sentiment. It comes with the hot foil word die, and the outline die cut.

Did you notice that pretty background? That's the new Deco Cover Foil panel! I used a small ink blender brush to add Distress Oxide ink to each of the impressions in the panel. I used two shades on each - starting with a lighter shade and added a darker shade of ink to the center of each.

There's a little half circle cut under each of the sunburst cuts that I added a coordinating color pearl to with multi matt medium glue.

The "Birthday Wishes" is adhered with adhesive foam tape so it sits taller than the pearls. The little lift adds dimension to this colorful and sparkly design.
