Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop

It's blog hop day - the 8th of the month- with Reverse Confetti! I hope your Summer is off to a good start.. the sun is shining, flowers blooming and the living is easy! We've been keeping busy getting the garden planted, and getting thing sin order for a little outdoor entertaining, I figured we could all use a little cool down so I broke out the Ice Cream Social stamp set!

This card starts with a rainbow Distress Oxide blended background topped with a Postal Cover die that I turned into a shaker! The heart frames the pups beautifully and makes them the center of attention.

My second card stars a few other characters from the same set - also on a Distress Oxide background. The images are colored with Copic markers.

The HAPPY letters are colored to match the blended background and the clouds were a snap using the negative cuts from the Cloudy Day panel.. (always save the pieces LOL!).

I stamped the sentiment on the blended panel BEFORE I splattered it with white ink and water masking the sentiment so it stays clean.

I think this will make a sweet Summer birthday card for a certain someone on my very nice list!
