Snowman Friends

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day and hoping to send you some smiles today with these cute Snowmen Friends from Pretty Pink Posh - great timing too because Shopping Our Stash Challenge has a "Do You Want To Build A Snowman" challenge going on.

I started with a Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink background and decided I needed some snowy hills. To save paper I cut the bottom of the pink panel with a Stitched Borders Die. Next I inked a scrap piece of paper with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink and cut it with the same Stitched Border.

Landscape complete.. all that was left was to stamp the sentiment and embellish it with these adorable Snow Friends. They're so cute no one's looking at the background anyway right?

I always try to get creative with the dies I have. My sun was created with the cut out circle of a Stitched Banner 2 Duo die cut. My dies are stored in clear envelopes and I keep extras - perhaps colors I didn't use as well as the negative pieces - in this case the negative stitched circle die all in the same envelope. It saves time and money to have the pieces handy.

The finishing touch is a few sparkly gems - like diamonds in the pink snow. I don't like driving in the snow, but I sure love a snow day when I can sit inside all warm and cozy and watch that snow fall!
