Today I'm playing along at The Paper Players where they're looking for SPOOKY fun projects!
I've been experimenting more and more with Distress ink. I prefer the original over the oxide because the colors are so much BRIGHTER! Since discovering cosmetic brushes, beautiful blended backgrounds are easier than ever. I've found them in lots of different sizes on Amazon making it easier to ink smaller areas and add more layers to backgrounds. I used five shades of ink on this card !
If you look close you'll notice some of the FRIGHTENING FRIENDS images are adhered flat to the card base - like the tree, ghost, monster, and moon, while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This helps add dimension and bring the scene to life.
I love that the FRIGHTENING FRIENDS stamp sets include LOTS of accessory images that add lots of detail to the scene. Reverse Confetti has several Halloween sets to choose from and they are all perfectly sized to work together if you want to mix things up a bit.
There are several script font sentiment in the set to choose from. This one is stamped directly on the distress background with Versafine ink for a crisp clean image.
Get your spooky on this Halloween - be safe and have a great time!
This is super cute!
