Pretty Pink Posh March Release Blog Hop!

Thanks for stopping by! Have you heard the news? There's a new Pretty Pink Posh release this month! To celebrate we're having a blog hop! There's lots to see but I'm starting with my favorite stamp set this release... it's called Floral Corners. I love the clean line flowers that were so easy to color with markers. I inked the petals in different shades to add depth and dimension to them.

My card starts with colorful Stitched Strips attached to my card base. I have two sets of dies and cut 4.25 x 5.5" sheets of colorful cardstock creating several strips at one time. I place waxed paper between the card stock and the die when I cut so they remove easy and I have a quart size zip bag filled with rainbow colored pieces at the ready.

The colorful panel is topped with the new Pretty Petals die, and a Scalloped Circle cut from white card stock. I added a Mom Script die and a simple "you are loved" from the All My Love Valentine set.

  

My mom struggles with depression so I like to give her cheery colorful cards to make her smile.

Ready for more sunshine? This card starts the same as the previous.. with a Stitched Strips background in shades of ombre blue. I wanted to tie my cards together for this hop and did that with the strips.

I topped the panel with the new Spring Corner Cover Die. I like the lacy look and the pretty floral design.

The panel is topped with new Daffodils that I colored with Copic markers. Daffodils are my favorite spring flower. I see bits of green peeking up in the yard and can't wait until the green is topped with bright yellow blooms.

My sentiment is from the Fly A Kite Stamp set, and I added a little Spring Robin to repeat the blue in the background. Robins are one of the first spring birds to return to my area (here in Northwest Indiana). My parents, kids and I always have a contest .. who will spot the first Robin of the season?
