Welcome to Waffle Flower’s January 2021 Release day! We’re blog hopping today to show you all the new goodies waiting for you on the website here This month, Waffle Flower is starting the year afresh with 4 stamp sets, 3 matching dies, 6 dies,1 stencil-n-stamp, and 4 stencils!
With February around the corner, Waffle Flower is getting ready for Valentine’s Day with two classics, hearts and roses! This release is chock full of ways to share the love with family and friends!
To get your floral fix, there’s Love Letter (stamp, die, combo, stencil, outline die) and Rose Bouquet (stencil-n-stamp, die, combo). With a heart theme, there’s the Heart Balloons Stencil Duo (stencil), Heart Blooms Stencils (stencil), Heart Frame Die (die), and Heart Spotlight Stencil (stencil). To coordinate with all of the lovely hearts and roses, Waffle Flower has a trio of shape dies with charming scalloped edges with the Scalloped Hearts Die (die), Scalloped Circles Die (die), and Scalloped Squares Die (die).
To round out the release, Waffle Flower has three fun sentiment sets, Oversized Heart (stamp, combo, word die), Sending Love Sentiments (stamp) and Happy Birthday Sentiments (stamp, die, combo).
I'm loving the new layered die sets you'll find in this release. My card starts with the largest Scalloped Squares die - the white frame that the layered heart sits on.
The new Scalloped Hearts die set is cut from ombre shades of red and stacked for lots of color. The new Oversized Heart set includes the big word "heart" die and lots of great sentiments.
I tucked in some gold Greenery foliage to make it extra special. I mean who doesn't love a little bling?
My second card is made with the new Love Letter Stamp Set. It's a clean line drawn stamp design that is perfect for coloring whatever your favorite media. I colored mine with Copic Markers, but I'm looking forward to more playtime when I can break out the watercolors.
The Victorian image has been given a modern update and is stunning to look at! I colored the beautiful flowers in shades of ombre ink colors - just inking the leaves separately - not blending each one. You don't have to be a pro to color. I like the stained glass look the separately colored petals gives.
Again, this one starts with a Large Scallop Square die cut as a base. The coordinating die cut makes it easy to cut the entire design in one pass. The stamp set also includes lots of sentiments so you can find just the right one.
One of my favorite features of the die set is that the sentiment strips can all be cut at the same time. Check this out!
I'm going to keep this big die handy for cutting lots of different sentiments. I won't loose it like I do the little strip dies I normally use!

These are some georgous card's I just love how the gold foliage pops off that first card and love the way you colored the second card I'm really excited about this new release its all so amazing
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your cards Jeanne. The first card with the gold foliage coming from behind the hearts really accents those. I also like the way you left some of the insides of the letters in that word die cut. I always think I have to pop out the e, a, etc. I have a totally new perspective now!
ReplyDeleteOh these are just beautiful! I love the details and how lovely they are! TFS!
