The 12 Kits of Occasions - A Year of Birthdays

Hi friends! I hope you're having a great day! I've got a treat to share today! Tracey McNeely from In My Creative Opinion blog surprised me with a kit. This was unexpected because there are lots of changes happening in the group with lots of great ideas moving forward in 2021.
Tracey is calling this kit A Year of Birthdays and it includes lots of bright happy papers from Vicki Boutin and images from The Greetery, Studio Katia and MFT. Tracey's style is CAS and I tried to channel her on a few of my cards to make her proud! I made SIX cards!
The best part about this kit is that you can see how the rest of the team interpreted the same supplies. Head on over to the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog where you'll see a sample from each of the team members and a link to their blogs so you can see it all!

  1. Hi Jeanne, Love all your sunny and happy cards, as always you have a way of layering patterned paper like no other. Love the cupcake card with pinks. The sunny crafty card is darling with the yellow blooms in the background . Hope you have a wonderful week.

  3. Jeanne, I have to take a breath before I start--wow, just wow as usual. You took my kit and really made it shine my friend! Let's start with that fabulous pinwheel card, the blue border makes then pop on this CAS beauty, so yes you made me proud! He second card with FOUR different papers just blew me away--if I did thatnis just would not work, so beautiful! I love how you made the BBW dies cut work with patterned paper, the cupcake card also game changer the way you played with the papers and inking and the grand finale with multiple papers and the balloons. All so you and all so lovely!

  4. I really need to come to your house and play Jeanne, and learn how you always know exactly how to put all those dsp papers together like they were meant to be! I stare at them and wonder how will I ever use these?!!! 5. Well, Queen Jeanne does it again! Just the perfect pairings of brights and fun elements. That simple bear against the party going on behind him is terrific. Simple explosion of raspberry with the 'celebrate' card is party city! I love the BIG duo, you made that wonderful message stand on it's own, something I tried to do also, and pretty much failed. You made every element shine and that's what I love about your style, perfection! Hugs, sweet lady!

  7. Jeanne!! Such a fabulous array of cards to showcase the various elements of Tracey's kit! Love the way you've used the patterned papers with the die-cuts; now I have ideas percolating for what to do with my 'leftovers'! I'm thrilled to be guest designing with you and this amazing team!

  9. Hi Jeanne. Such beautiful creations you made with Tracey's kit. I can see a lot of Jeanne style in them and also how you moved a scoot closer to CAS design. All your wonderfully colored and patterned backgrounds really pop when paired with the uncolored stamped die cuts. I must remember in the future how good that looks, when I am feeling too lazy to color! Great fun to be creating alongside you and the team this month.
