Heart Vines

Hi friends! Today I'm playing along at the As You Like it Challenge where they're asking to see Your Favorite "True Love" or "Fabulous Friends" (& why). My favorite thing in the world (other than family) is my crafty time. It's a sweet escape.. I time to be creative. I can make a flower garden in the middle of winter or a snowstorm on a hot summer day.

My favorite crafty item is die cuts. There is truly something magical about taking a plain sheet of paper, rolling it through my die cut machine and finding something beautiful waiting on the other side! This pretty die is from Pretty Pink Posh and it's called Heart Vines. It actually comes with some bitty hearts dies but I didn't use them on this card.

My favorite technique is color blocking. I love the clean graphic designs you can create with this technique. I cut the Heart Vines die with three shades of red/pink cardstock - this is a good way to use up scraps too - to make this design.

All that was left was to add a sentiment. The script "love" stamp is from the Valentine Hearts stamp set and the typed strip sentiment is from the LOVE set.
