Poppystamps Halloween Zig Zag Witch

It's finally here! It's HALLOWEEN! I hope you have some spooky fun planned even if you're not allowed to trick or treat! I've got a little eye candy for you today with this Halloween color block card.

I think details make your card creations come to life and this one is sure to catch your eye with the blingy steam coming from the cauldron and the silver bow on the witch's waist.

This card starts with the Zig Zag Border background. It was easy to assemble. Just cut strips of colorful card stock, tape them together nice and tight on their revers side and then trim the edges so the panel fits your card base. Easy peasy!

I topped the panel with a Pointed Oval Frame cut from black card stock. It contains the scene and keeps the figure grounded so it doesn't look like it's floating. 

I wanted to add some details to the witch. The die has some cut lines on her skirt. I cut the witch twice... once in black and once in grey. I cut the skirt to remove the cut panels and adhered them with adhesive foam tape to add dimension. To hide the edges that looked a little rough I added a bitty bow.

The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is from the Halloween Ingredients stamp set. The coordinating die set includes the little tag shape.
