Ahoy Maties! It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? It's time for The 12 Kits of Occasions! The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.
Our hostess this month is Kim from Cupcakes Cards and Kim! Kim is always ready to lend an ear.. she's the cool Mom who can bake and sew. I commissioned some custom AKITA print bags from her and she made me a star too! Her Etsy page is RunningStitchDesign. I love taking a Miss Moriko look a like print bag with me whenever I'm away from home! She's a Disney FANatic and she and her daughter like going to rock concerts together! I'm jealous of all that talent and the girl can knock out the cards too!
I really had fun making with the kit. We never made it to the beach this year, and this kit felt like a trip to the ocean. A real treat!

Jeanne, how adorable are these! Your use of print and pattern dp never fails to amaze. I've come to expect the best cards from you, and are never disappointed. Always a treat to see Queen Jeanne's creations on social media! Hugs my friend!
ReplyDeleteJeanne your post is such a ray of sunshine. I love that you use so many bright colours and pattern together to make the most delightful cards. You always get an A+ for your ability to do that every single post. Your designs never look heavy, always very coordinated. I might need some one on one lessons, sound fun? All of the lighthouse scenes are lovely, the perfect addition of dies and extras. I love the way you coloured the seagulls and koalas, they are so cute. I love that the seagulls are blue and the koalas purple! You must have used most of your kit! Fortunately I have enough left to try a Case you! xo
ReplyDeleteI can always spot a "Jeanne" card a mile away...they're the ones that are the most colorful and use dsp like nobody's business!! And you certainly didn't disappoint with this FABULOUS collection of cards Jeanne!! When Tracey comes over for one on one lessons, can I come too? I consider it good if I can put 2 pieces of dsp together, and your cards have 3 and 4 different ones most times! Kim is going to be so tickled when she sees what you did with her kit...every one is a gem my friend! Hugs. :0)
