Tropical Missing You

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying the day! I'm starting to feel like summer is coming to an end. I have some Poplar trees in the yard and already the leaves are falling making me feel that the cold weather isn't far behind. 

Today I'm playing along with the Get Creative Challenge. This time they have a sketch for us!

Do you see the inspiration in my design?

I turned the circle into a big sunshine. The panel down the center has become a beautiful striped rainbow. And instead of the square I created a scene with a flamingo and palm tree from Pretty Pink Posh's Tropical Birds. 

The background is a panel created with ripped solid card stock to look like the ocean and beach.

I missed traveling this year to the beach. Sometimes we drive to the ocean.. but this year we've made due with a staycation. My "wish you were here" is the ocean calling me back for a visit next year. SMILE!
