Reverse Confetti July Release Blog Hop

Awesome news! The wait is over! The Reverse Confetti July release is in the store! To celebrate we're having a blog hop! There's lots to see so let's get started! 

My first card today is made with the Snail Mail stamp set with coordinating dies. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers.

I arranged the images on a panel that I inked with Distress Oxide ink. I normally use the original Distress Inks, but I've been experimenting more with the Oxides. I like their creamy texture and blendability.

I stamped a sentiment from the set directly on the blended ink background. I used a white gel marker to add some fun accents to the snail shells. The simple dots give them a fun look. I can't tell you how tempted I was to add some silly eyes too! 

Some of the images are adhered flat to the card base while others are adhered with adhesive foam tape. This adds dimension and brings life to the scene. 

This card features a repeated stamped sentiment from This Says It All. I filled in the open line letters with Copic Markers in a rainbow of colors. 

For a fun look I matted the sentiment panel over a solid card stock panel adhered at a jaunty angle.

I added a die cut word sentiment from the Hooray & Cheers die set. The sentiment is double cut - once from red card stock and a second time from gold glitter paper. I adhered them together with a slight overlap so the sparkles peek out from underneath.

This stamp set has lots of great sentiments that you'll be reaching for all year long! They're great for personalizing your cards for just the right occasion.
