This card starts with a Distress Oxide inked panel of Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, and Mustard Seed. The creamy pigment ink is easy to blend for quick coverage. The panel is topped with the Meadow Blossom Frame die cut. The panel is slightly smaller than an A2 size card so the inky edges of the panel can peek from behind.
I added a Luscious Script Hugs in the middle of the heart with a simple sentiment from the Valentines Fairies stamp set. I adhered it to the card with adhesive foam tape so it is raised from the base of the card.
I cut a Whittle Hedgehog from white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers. I colored the entire image in light violet (BV00) and then added a little cheek blush and color to the ear with R01. Finally I added highlights to the fur and nose with BV04). I tucked him in under the hugs sentiment.
The finishing touch is the addition of colorful jewels to the flower centers. I love the extra sparkle and shine.
