I tend to be driven by the photo inspiration. I'm smitten here with this dramatic butterfly in pretty blues and black! So striking! If you're not loving the photo that's ok because you can always play along with the sketch!
I turned to the Pretty Pink Posh Beautiful Butterflies! I colored them with Copic markers and layered them over some big tropical leaves from the Hibiscus Stamp Set.
To define the edges of the distress ink background I added a Tropical Frame die cut in white card stock. I added a sprinkle of Mermaid mix sequins for some extra sparkle and shine.
I decided on three butterflies because there are three circles in the sketch, and because three always seems more pleasing to the eye. A simple sentiment was added from the Tropical Birds stamp set.Now it's your turn! Now it's your turn! Are you ready to play? I wonder how you will interpret the photo!
