Spellbinder Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken

I'm channeling my inner Becca Feeken today as I share two cards made with the newest additions to her designer collection at Spellbinders. This collection is called Flourished Fretwork and it's going to take your crafting to a whole new level! 

I cut the frame from white card stock and layered it over a solid purple card stock background. I topped the card with paper flowers and a pretty silk bow. Did I ever tell you that I learned how to tie bows watching Becca Feeken's blog way back when? And yes it's been a while since I've tied a pretty ribbon bow and I am thankful I still remember how. 

The simple sentiments are from the Giving Occasions stamp set. They're the perfect size because they don't take up much space leaving the pretty background exposed.

You'll notice that the background looks like it's puffed through the clean line die cut - that's because I embossed it on the solid colored card stock before I adhered the die cut over it. 

This pattern is called Sentimental Finery. Each of the different die cut sets in the collection are easy to layer to make exquisite elegant designs.

Both of these die sets are sized for an A2 card front (4.25 x 5.5"). They're easy to cut and assemble - the hardest part will be choosing what colors to use! I am a big fan of bright bold colors but I know these same dies cut from soft shades will make elegant wedding, engagement and even baby congratulations. 

This collection is so pretty! And I love it because it made these elegant cards easy to make. A few cuts adhered together and I'm the master of classic elegance! 

I've been a fan of Becca's classy style for a very long time and I sure hope I did her proud! If you love elegant detailed layered die cuts this collection is for you!
