These papers are amazing! Smooth, heavy weight, great color saturation.. made by designers who papercraft for YOU! Waffle Flower paper pads measure a generous 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches (half-page of US Letter size). They settled on this size to give cardmakers more paper and less waste! Simply fold each page in half to make a standard landscape A2 card. Or trim a page in half to make two A2-sized card fronts. This larger size can also be used for A7-sized cards (5"x 7"). The beauty of our unique page sizing allows us to have half-half designs. For more details, visit their paper introduction page here.
I'm a fan of bold rainbow colors so the stack I chose to work with today is the Half and Half Lines Pattern in the Enchanted Color Scheme. I thought a color block card would be ideal to show you how brilliant the colors are.
I cut strips in 3/4" widths and taped them together on their reverse side. When the panel was complete I trimmed it so it would be slightly smaller than my card base.
I topped the panel with Pretty Butterflies cut from white card stock, and an Awesome word die. A sprinkle of Stardust enamel dots adds some sparkle and shine.
I'm a big fan of cards with scenes too.. so I turned to the Happy Day stamp set. While we're sheltered in place I've been taking the dog for walks and seeing lots of folks on bikes to get some fresh air and exercise.
I cut waves of colorful paper to make a grassy park for Big Bear to ride in! The waves made it easy to tuck in the scenery of bold blooms.
This paper is nice and smooth so you can stamp directly on it. I inked my sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Most colors in the pack have two shades - a darker and lighter. And because each sheet is split in two you get even more paper choices when you create. The weight is perfect for card bases too, just fold the sheet in half and you have an A2 size card.
