This card stars with a watercolor panel in pinks and oranges. I embossed it with the new Delhi Embossing folder and then ran a gold ink pad over it to bring out all the details in GOLD!
I added foil leaf die cuts from the Romantic Vines die set. This set is no longer available, but I just can't part with it. You can substitute other beautiful foliage available from Spellbinders.
The fancy gold foil sentiment is from the Glimmer Elegant Occasion set. The gold foil accents look rich and elegant. The set includes matching die cut's that allow you to cut the sentiment after you foil it.
Now we're off to the orient! I used lots of lucky red and gold on this design starting with the Kyoto embossed background on a red card stock panel. Again I ran a gold ink pad over the embossing to make the design easier to see.
If you look close you'll see I added a gold glitter panel behind the embossed red panel to allow the gold to peek through the die cut window openings.
The lantern is a single die cut. I cut it once from navy and once from aqua cutting pieces from the aqua to add layers to the navy.
I love the beautiful elegant designs you can create with Spellbinders die cuts! Click here to go shopping at Spellbinders!Finished Size 4.25 x 5.5"
