Thanks for stopping by! It's Day 3 of Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week! There's lots to see today with three new Sugar Cuts and one stamp set.
I created this cute scene with the CHRISTMAS CAR die set. It includes the cute little VW (slug bug anybody?) a pine tree, bitty gift packages and ornaments.
I used a border die from the CARD FRONT ELEMENT BUILDER to create a hilly background and road. Little pine trees dot the background for a little scenery. I decorated one of the trees with colorful ornaments and added little presents underneath.
The new MERRY WORD WITH SHADOW makes a fun sentiment. If you like that, there is a matching JOY WORD WITH SHADOW die that's new this release. I love that you can use the word die with the shadow background or not for different looks.
It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
This card starts with the new Geo Snowflake Stencil. I used Pixie Spray (A MUST FOR ANY STENCIL LOVER) to add a light adhesive coating to the back of the stencil. This keeps things in place and is still easy to move and reposition with no residue left behind.
I used distress ink and cosmetic brushes to get clean ombre color on the background.
The bold beautiful sentiment is from the new OH SO JOLLY SENTIMENTS stamp set. I layered ZIG ZAG STITCHED CIRCLES to make the sentiment to center of attention.
You have to love the GOLD!! Am I right? A few gold enamel dots add a little more sparkle and shine!

ReplyDeleteOh my both of your cards are spectacular! We used to play, and still do now that I have kids, punch buggie no punch backs! I used to drive a bright orange bug! I am reminded of Christmas trees and how I put one in the back one time! Ha ha. The next year I tied it to the top of the car. Love the snoflake/star stencil card with the beautiful colors! Gold is great!
