Altenew May 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil/Ink/Enamel Pin Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

It's one of those days when I feel like a VERY LUCKY GIRL! I'm a guest designer for the new release at Altenew! There's nothing I love creating with than FLOWERS! So this is a dream come true!
If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Nicole Picadura's blog. If you'd like to start from the beginning and get all the details including information on how you can win one of the SIX $50 gift certificates up for grabs you can find it here at the Altenew Card Blog.

There's lots to see so let's get started!
These beautiful flowers are from the new BASIC BLOOMS stamp set with coordinating dies. No one does layered florals better than ALTENEW !
I stamped these florals in lots of different colors. I couldn't decide which color I loved best so I added them all to my card.
The Flowers are layered over the Cozy Flannel Cover Die. The flowers are adhered with adhesive foam tape - the leaves are adhered flat on the card.
These beautiful florals are called Delicate Clusters. They are multi layered stamps that you can use to create a background or create clusters on stems.
These are also beautiful in every color I stamped them in! All the inks I used are from Altenew..they're perfect for layering because Altenew created them specifically for multi stamped images like these.
The Delicate Flowers are adhered over the Doodled Lace Cover Die. The die is upside down (you can't see the heart that designates the direction because it's covered with flowers), and is layered over a panel inked with Distress inks.
A third set of flowers.. and I think these are my favorites... these are called Ornate Foliage!
There are lots of possibilities with this set. You can stamp just the outline and color them yourself, or you can ink them with the solid stamps that color each area of the stamp.
You can color these in any combination of colors. I love the instruction / sample booklet included with the stamp set that has suggestions on color combinations as well as how to arrange the florals.
I adhered the stamped and die cut Ornate Foliage to a color block panel that I created with 3/4" strips of green card stock. I assembled the strips on their reverse side and then trimmed the panel to fit my card base.
These Ornate Foliage florals remind me of rich embroidered fabric.. elegant and decadent.
One more card to share today. I hope you love florals as much as me!
This gorgeous rose die is called Fine Bouquet. I colored the flower with Copic Markers.
I put packing tape on the back of a white panel before running it through my die cut machine. The tape prevents the die from cutting all the way through. This made an outline of the die making it easy to color. I made a mask to cover my coloring and then inked the panel with Distress ink. To clean it all up and give it a finished look I cut a second Fine Bouquet from white card stock and adhered it over the colored image.
The sentiment is from the new Fancy Greetings. You'll love the beautiful mixed font sentiments!

  19. Jeanne, your cards are absolutely delightful. I'm so glad you couldn't decide what colour you liked best on your first card as I think the varied colours are perfect. I have to agree with you in that my favourite stamp set is the Ornate Foliage as well. I love any Jacobean pattern though. Love the bold colours you used in it as well. You showcased this release so very well. I'm happy you are a guest designer on this blog too. Thanks.
