My Momenta Merry and Bright Challenge!

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I've got some exciting news to share. If your a fan of Momenta you'll be happy to know they've just started a creative challenge for December. Yes there are prizes and they'll be reposting favorite projects they love on Instagram!

There is a festive prompt for each day in December to get your mojo going. Today's inspirational prompt for December 7 COZY PAJAMAS. 

I thought it would be fun to make a card with fun stripes in bright colors, and a bit of lace, just like your favorite pj's! Who doesn't love to be a couch potato?

I chose paper colors that remind me of Christmas lights and cut them in 1 1/8" strips to adhere to my card base. Where the stripes meet I topped the seam with a lace cut from the Intrical Floral Border die set. 

I cut the Merry Christmas Wreath die from gold glitter paper, and gold foil. I carefully snipped the "Merry" word from the die on both cuts. Next I stacked the foil over the glitter slightly overlapping the two so some sparkler peeks from under the gold foil. Gold glitter enamel dots are the finishing touch.
