Fusion Card Challenge - Sweet CItrus

I love the crisp bright notes of citrus.. the smell is invigorating! I love the arrangement and colors of orange, grapefruit and lemon on the inspiration photo. Not loving the photo? That's ok too because you can play along with the sketch. Here's what I made..

I'm playing along with Altenew Simple Fruits. The set includes lots of different fruits.. pear, cherry, pineapple and of course some citrus! 

The set DOES NOT include any foliage so I found a floral set called Floral Fantasy and inked up the leaves in different shades of Altenew ink (see below).

I arranged the fruit first attaching it to the card with adhesive foam tape. The leaves are all adhered flat to the card base. The base is inked up with distress ink - and splattered for a "juicy" look. 

The "so sweet" sentiment is inked with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a crisp clean impression. It's adhered directly on to the die cut lemons!
