Birthday Wishes!

Boy it's hot out today! I thought I'd take a break from the sunshine and enjoy some down time indoors. My favorite way to relax is to create. I love to make cards for friends and family and adding to my birthday card stash is always a plus. 

Today I'm playing along with Seize the Birthday Challenge. This time it's "Anything Goes". My favorite set is Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Friends.

The Stitched Pieces die cut makes the best layout for the die cut friends. I inked up my card base with distress ink in the areas behind the open windows (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Twisted Citron). I blocked off the area with removable sticky tape to keep the ink where it belongs.

The images are die cut and adhered to the card with adhesive foam tape. The optional "toppings" this challenge is sequins, but I'm loving the Pretty Pink Posh jewels lately so I used those instead. They look like party confetti and you get so many in a pack you'll be set for loads of projects. 

I love all the accessories in the kit including presents, party hats, balloons, cupcakes and more!
