I thought this image was a bit tricky the first few looks at it.. but after a while it all came together for me. The lighthouse under the stormy sky seemed rather ominous... and the big red chain links in the foreground??!! I looked at this one several ways.. Should I work with just the colors, maybe the images? I finally settled on a nautical theme. Not loving the image? That's ok.. you can work with the sketch if you prefer!
I gravitate to brights so no stormy skies for me. My clouds are big fluffy cottonballs! LOL! I added some beams of light cut by hand and the land mass the lighthouse is sitting on.
Instead of a big red chain in the foreground I added a big fish. This guy is actually a Koi die, but he looks like a big whopper of a fish in this smaller scene.
I added seagulls because no trip to the ocean is complete without them flying by! The wavy ocean is a Ric Rac border die cut in several shades of blue.
