Oh what a great day for a visit! Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating their latest release with a 2 day blog hop (March 8 - 9)! If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Heather Meeson's blog. If you'd like to start at the beginning you can do that here at the Pretty Pink Posh blog. There's lots to share so grab a cuppa your favorite, sit down and join us! Of course there's some candy to be had (prizes!) and the lucky winner might just be YOU!
I made two cards to share today. My first was made with the new Bunny Friends stamp set. These are the sweetest bunnies you ever saw Of course there is a matching die set too!
The set includes four cute bunnies, loads of flowers and a bitty carrot too! You'll make lots of wonderful scenes with this adorable set. The images are easy to color too. I left the bunnies in card stock white and added accents in pink only.
That rainbow background was made with the new Stacked Edges 2 die set. It's a great value - because it's 3 borders that you can use individually OR to create beautiful backgrounds. I know.. that's lots of cutting right? I usually cut three dies at a time (one of each pattern) and I save the ones I'm not going to use for other projects. As an example.. I cut all three borders in the set in each of these rainbow colors. I have enough cut to make 3 different backgrounds - one with the hex, one with the chevron, and one with the diamonds.
The next card I made is with the beautiful Cherry Blossoms die set. These open clean line images are great for any medium you want to use.. imagine them embossed with a watercolor wash!
The Cherry Blossoms fill my head with thoughts of Spring and new life. I thought the pretty pink would go well with some Robin's Egg Blue!
For the background I inked up a white card stock panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I splattered it with water, some watered down Salty Ocean and finally some white ink. Next I cut the panel with the Stitched Notes die. Can you see the stitched edges?
This heartfelt sentiment is from the new Encouraging Greetings Stamp Set. There's lots of great mixed font sentiments that will all make you smile!
OH yes! No sequins today! Shocking right? Both my cards have the new JEWELS on them. This are bitty faceted flat backed gems. There's lots of colors to choose from but seriously you're going to WANT THEM ALL! The gems are different sizes and each pack has a very generous portion that I think you'll be reaching for again and again!
Ready for the next stop on this hop? It's Justine Hovey!! But before you go PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT!!!
There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 3/12/2018. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog. You can't win unless you comment!
Here's a list of all the designers with projects to share today - March 8
Good Luck and have a great day!
