HI and thanks for stopping by! It's the last day of the month and you know what that means right? Well for me it's time for the reveal of The 12 Kits of Occasions kit. The 12 Kits of Occasions is a group of 12 friends who all love to paper craft. Every month we take turns making a kit for the rest of the group. We all receive the same kit with the same items. On the last day of the month we reveal what we each made with the kit. It's fun to see how we used the product in different ways. Sometimes the projects are similar and sometimes they are very different.
This month our hostess is Lindsey Larson from Occasional Crafting. Lindsey made a heart felt kit she's calling "Faith and Family". This kit is a beautiful representation of Lindsey.. feminine florals and sentiments of faith and love.
The kit included LOADS of florals and a mix of bold and pastel colors. Just to mention a few ingredients.. stamped images from Clearly Besotted, WPlus9, and The Ton; die cuts included florals and sentiments from Concord & 9th; And.. pretty papers from Pebbles, and Papertrey Ink.
I was left with LOTS of extra ingredients - none of them "trixies" that I couldn't figure out.. but one ingredient left over that surprised me.. twine. Lindsey sent three different ones - and somehow I didn't use ANY!? I know.. shocking.. but I did make 7 (yes SEVEN!!) cards - A new record for me (I think).
My apologies for the photography... some of the colors in this kit are so soft that when I brighten them they look washed out. I wish you could see them in person!
Want to see more designs created with this amazing kit? Hop on over to our group page.. The 12 Kits of Occasions where you'll find a list of all the ingredients for this kit and a sample from each of the team members.
Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!

Beautiful works of heart here Jeanne! Love the pick coming out of the cactus pot, such a clever way to use the sign. You definitely have the Midas touch on all your work my friend! Your polka dotted rose card has me swooning and wishing I'd saved mine out. Love everything you've done with Lindsey's kit!
ReplyDeleteWow...so many wonderful and creative cards! Love your sweet cactus and that wee yellow flower, just perfect. Love your use of all the beautiful flowers, you could be an incredible florist! Love them all, you really made Lindsey's kit shine!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jeanne! These are beautiful, stunning, outstanding, lovely and every other good word I can think of! Your cactus with the ombre background is so awesome and your bold lily immediately caught my eye...what a stunner! I can't believe I didn't think to pair all the lavender goodies together. They sure do may a lovely combination. Your jar of roses card is just amazing. You know, they are all amazing. I love each one, and I love that I can look at this post with excitement because I have the goodies to CASE your cards instead of wishing I hadn't used something up like I often think after I see the way you used it. I hope the images of these beautiful cards stick in my head all day!
ReplyDeleteJust the gallery of gorgeousness I've come to expect from you, Jeanne! that Lily is speaking to me thanks to your bright and cheerful coloring - so glad to have in my leftovers! Leave it to you to make that Cactus bloom ... it must be an Easter cactus! A bevy of beauty once again... xx

Well, you've done it again. You've ROCKED the kit Jeanne! While they're all incredibly beautiful, the aqua polka dot card is my favorite. I also like the warmth of the cacti card. All amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great kit & you've used it for so many great cards! I especially love the purple one!
ReplyDeleteOh Jeanne. Your cards are ALL wonderful! The coloring on the lily is breathtaking, and the cactus with the stickpin and that bg... completely enchanting! You always seem to give attention to every detail perfectly and with flair. You ALWAYS make the kits shine! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Collection! I love your rich, bright colors, and of course your composition is always remarkable!
ReplyDeleteEach one is a showstopper for sure Jeanne and I am also sure Lindsey fell in love with each one, just as we all did! My absolute favorite has to be the one with the Poppystamps scalloped frame and blooms in the jar... something about polka dots , scallops and an old fashion jar filled with pretty blooms.....Really loving that one! Hugs to you !
ReplyDeleteI knew you would do amazing things with Lindsey's kit! When I saw your card on the 12 Kits blog, I loved the dazzling color and your beautifully colored lily. The background for the cactus was perfect and you knew exactly how to show off that stunning electric blue. Every design is truly gorgeous. And I'm so glad to see that we both used the petunias and hope die in a similar way!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jeanne! Your cards are all so unique and so fabulous! You think of things and add layers where I would have never thought and they always look so good! The very last card has to be one of my favourite cards of your ever!! xoxo
