I hope you had a fabulous July4! We had a house full! My Mom and Sister stopped by in the afternoon, and then my daughter and her boyfriend for a dinner of pulled pork tacos. Later in the evening my son had a large group of friends over for fireworks! I had so much fun watching them! Miss Moriko was ok with all the food, but the fireworks? Not so much LOL!
A new challenge begins today at Fusion Card Challenge! Check out the inspiration photo! Looks like Summer Fun at the BEACH!!! What do you love about the photo? The cute signs, bright colors or maybe the woodgrain background? Not loving the photo? Work with the sketch. Either way it's all good! It's Fusion so the choice is yours!
I was inspired by the bright colors of the signs and thoughts of headed to the beach! I even played along with the sketch mixing papers from Simple Stories Summer Days collection.
I added some sticker tabs along the edge of the card for a cool border, and a few chipboard flowers tucked under the raised elements on the design so you can see some of the dimension.
Feeling like a road trip yet? I look at a trip to the beach or the ocean as my annual migration from the cold midwest winters.
Ready to see what the rest of the team made? You can see them and link up your own designs here at the Fusion Card Challenge blog! We can't wait to see what you make!
