Spring is in the air! Can you believe it's April 1? No foolin! LOL!! I'm hoping there's not too many trixies playing games at my house today - you just never know what sort of mood Mr. J will be in. Maybe he won't realize that it's April Fool's day? Fingers crossed....
Being the first of the month that means lots of new challenges begin today! I'm hoping that you'll join us at the Reverse Confetti Blog for the monthly Sketch For You To Try. I'm a fool for a sketch.. I find the hardest part of creating sometimes is deciding on my layout or how to arrange the different elements on my card. A sketch takes all the guess work out of your design.
I knew I wanted to make something "Spring" so I grabbed the Hippity Hoppity set. Can you believe I just got that set? I've been wanting it for a long time now. What was I waiting for?

So I followed the sketch with Easter papers from Simple Stories. I kept the circle shape on the sketch for my focal point - the girl bunny with the flowers.
I can't wait to see a butterfly in the yard again! I know when the flowers are back that they will be too! I stamped all the images with Memento Ink and then colored them with Copic Markers. A white gel pen was used for accents on the images.
I'm hoping you take some time out this month to join us at Reverse Confetti. You can always find the challenge by clicking on the "Current Sketch For You To Try" button in the right column of the Reverse Confetti blog. You might just win a sweet prize for playing too!
