Are you getting ready for the latest Reverse Confetti release? It hits the store on March 8. There's lots of goodness waiting for you with 5 new ink colors and card stock, 6 new stamp sets and 10 confetti cuts!
Today is the 3rd day of peeks and today we're showing the ALL ABOUT EWE and EASTER BLESSINGS Stamp Sets. Make sure you leave comments today because that's how you enter to win the candy that's up for grabs today!
Tomorrow is release day and we'll be celebrating with a blog hop and showing more samples made with the new release!
The EASTER BLESSINGS stamp set has 5 religious sentiments that will be handy all year round - not just at Easter. I'll be using these for celebrating lots of joyous occasions.
I started with a background of papers from the new FREE SPIRIT 6" paper pad. I stamped the sentiment from EASTER BLESSINGS directly on the pattern paper. The neutral background papers make the colored die cuts just pop!
I knew the CROSS Confetti Cut would make the perfect embellishment for the religious sentiment! the cross is layered on a Bold Line Pretty Panel (the diagonal sash reminds me of the cloth that adorn the crucifix for Easter). Behind that is a white blank panel from CLASS ACT, and then the large pink scallop matt die cut is from LOVE NOTE.
This little guy will be fun for lots of different projects, and there are several different sentiments in the set to choose from! He comes complete with a little birdie friend too!
Yes you do spy more new things here.. how about that background die? It's called STRIPED FRAME. I thought it would make a nice setting for this meadow scene. I cut mine from the new DARK ROAST CARD STOCK (as the name implies.. a nice rich dark coffee color)
I used the SUN 'N CLOUDS Confetti Cuts to accent the scene - who doesn't love a beautiful sunny day?
I know you're going to have lots of fun creating scenes of your own with this set. Of course there are matching Confetti Cut dies to make these easy to arrange! I stamped mine with Memento Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used a white gel pen to added accents to the little lamb.
total cuteness today! love your layers on the first one and the bright sunny ewe card just makes me smile.
