Today I'm reminding you to play along with our challenge over at TAG YOU'RE IT! We're at the half way point so there's still time to play!
Here's our inspiration tag this time from Lynn Put!! I loved the bright bold red and layers of color on Lynn's design. Her attention to detail makes it even sweeter! I love the snowflake die peeking out from behind the hot chocolate cup.. the mix of solid and striped paper, the sentiment stamped in color, the little button and twine like the cherry on top... I mean is this perfection or what?
I think this tag can get spun in lots of different directions! What grabs you? The color? The hot drink to keep you warm? The snowflakes? You can run with whatever inspires you!

I started with the focal point. Instead of the mug I wanted to make a Valentine's tag. I like to give little gifts when I can and expect this one will turn up on something I find for my Mom or my daughter. They both like pink, and I know the glittery (Birch Press Design) Prismatic Heart will be a hit with either one of them.
Next I focused on Lynn's layout adding background papers and stamping the sentiment in color! A pretty die cut flower is peeking out from the heart. The fancy die cut borders (Poppystamps Tailored Stitches) help separate the pattern papers
Lynn's mug had a heart in the center of it, so I filled in one of the flowers on the die cut heart.
I had no clue what this one was going to look like from start to finish. Each element was deliberated and added like a piece of a puzzle, and I'm really happy with the feminine tag that developed!
