CAS-ual Fridays Calling All Sistah's!!

Hi and thanks for stopping by!! I'm calling out to all Sistahs! On the 17th of the month CAS-ual Fridays Stamps sponsors a blog hop to remind you and the important women in your life to make sure you're doing your monthly breast self-exam and scheduling a yearly mammogram. You can make a difference and you might just save a life! Our theme this month is "With Love From Your Sistah"!

1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. Early detection is so important for treatment! We want all the women in our lives to know how important they are to us and how much we want them to live strong healthy lives.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps owner Michele is a survivor. She designed a line of stamps to provide support and to promote awareness. 50% of the sale of products in the "Calling All Sistahs" campaign are donated to breast cancer research and awareness.

If you're hopping along you should have reached me from Theresa Knopf's blog.

You can get all the blog hop details and begin here - at the CAS-ual Fridays Blog!

I've been going through the "winter blues" and been playing with the flowers from Pretty Posies stamp set! I thought it would be fun to have them peeking out from behind the die cut word ribbon.

The word ribbon was getting lost so I added a solid die cut ribbon behind it to break up the patterns. I added lots of pinks - the ink, flowers, sequins (that's from the limited edition mix that Pretty Pink Posh made exclusively for the store!) and die cuts.

I added some glossy accents to the flower centers for dimension and shine.  The sentiment is from the Calling All Sistah's Stamp Set.  I cut it with a banner die and added a little washi to make it pop.

Ok.. on to the next blog for you! Lori Kobular's got something amazing to share!!! But before you go.. please leave me a comment! There is some candy to be had.. and you have to leave a comment to enter to win!

Here's a complete list of all the designers with projects to share today!

I do not accept any payment for products I use on my blog. I only work with products I love and would recommend.

  15. From another survivor--thank you and Michele both for supporting such an important cause. Your strikingly bright and beautiful card made me want to drink something with an umbrella in it. I always like to look at the card first and try to figure out how things were done. You had some surprises, which are always "aha" moments.
