We're at the half way point of the latest Tag You're It Challenge! You have one more week to play along so you better get to it! Here's the inspiration photo this time with a beautiful design from our guestie Leigh Penner!
There's lots to love about this one.. I was struck by the white embossing on the dark grey tag. It really made the colors of the word die and the leaves just jump off the page.
I had lots of ideas but I really wanted to give this a spin in a different direction. That's really my favorite part of playing a challenge - seeing all the different possibilities that come from one idea.
I decided to try to do the opposite of this tag - make a white background with grey stamping so I started with a base of stamped grey leaves that I topped with a beautiful flower and word die.

I still stuck with the basic layout of the original tag.. stamped images on a base topped with a few colorful die cuts and a colorful word die.
This beautiful floral set is from Altenew called Beautiful Day. The word die is from Poppystamps. Of course my favorite accents are Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (Sparkling Clear), and some Twinery Stone Twine.
