Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions! We're a group of 12 friends who like to papercraft. Every month we take turns putting together a kit for the rest of the group. On the last day of the month we reveal what we made with the kit. It's fun to see how our designs will look similar or oh so very different! We're posting early today because tomorrow is Halloween and we'll all be playing tricks!
Our hostess this month is Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone! Michele is a CAS girl, but with a twist! She's got a fabulous sense of humor and it always comes through in her creations. You can't help but smile when you visit her blog!
I'm always looking for that one tricky ingredient that I didn't use on my cards. This time that would be a big sparkly gem. I could have used it to dot my "i" but used an enamel dot instead. SO keep your eyes out for that! Really though.. everything in the kit was easy to work with !

Of course noting but beauties here Jeanne! Each one is gorgeous and I knew you would use the patterned paper to the fullest! Love the split doily cards and the many beautiful layers on the first card with the beautiful rolled flower. I dropped mine and rolled over it with my chair.....Gorgeous cards my friend!

ReplyDeleteWell it's a given that pretty papers in your hands would result in gorgeous cards! Love how you used all the trimmings. Sweet gold framed kitty. And the rose card... gorgeous! I used the doilies on my gate card too, love that we had a similar brain moment!

ReplyDeleteIt IS amazing how we've all created different cards with the same goodies! Your projects are wonderful! I had a little trouble trying to use the embroidery trims, but you nailed them!! And your rose is gorgeous...I need serious rose therapy, LOL!

I was so anxious to see what you did with all these amazing patterned papers! I knew they would be stunners! LOVE the layering and your rolled rose is perfection! The first card is a favorite and especially awesome and I adore your sweet framed kitty!

Couldn't pick a favourite even if you bribed me with a piece - each - of apple, cherry and pumpkin pie! Gorgeous all (although, the little kitten is quite darling...)...
