Hello Beautiful!

Happy Friday!  I hope you're all ready for the weekend!  DH has a card party tonight so I'll be hopping - making sure everyone has enough to eat!  I'm loving all my goodies from Tupelo Designs LLC.  They have great customer service, and a package from them is like a present!  What a nice pick me up!  They have all my favorite brands in one place, and shipping is always free - no coupon code required.
I'm playing with the My Favorite Things Beautiful Girl set.   This little girlie is adorable.  She's easy to color and there's a companion die that makes it easy to work with.  I made two versions of the same card - one very CAS and the other fussy.  For this one I created a frame with the Cross Stitch Oval Stax.

I added distress ink very softly to the card stock panel with a Clarity Brush and Ranger Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  I colored the image with Copic Markers  and adhered the image to the base with adhesive foam tape to add some dimension.

You can find all these products including My Favorite Things stamps and dies at Tupelo Designs LLC. I'm also entering it at the
MFT Sketch Challenge
This is my fussy version of the same card.  I used pattern paper for a base keeping most of the elements the same.

That pretty wood button is from the "free gift" package I received with my order from Tupelo!    They're all so pretty I was trying not to hoard them!

I love this soft feminine card - princess perfect!    Which one do you prefer?  The clean and simple or this fussy version?

Have a great weekend!  I hope you find time for whatever makes your heart happy!
