YAYY! It's my first post as an official Confetti Crew member! I've been playing along with the Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try for as long as I can remember. I never dreamed I'd be on the team showing the samples! So excited today!
I love a skech challenge - they've always been my favorite. I know lots of you like a color challenge, but I just get a color stuck in my head - say orange for example (since my whale is orange) and I just start thinking of everything orange that I can think of - fruit, traffic cones, flowers, etc.. and that's all I can focus on. When I look at a sketch it's easy for me to see different objects where the shapes are.
Here's the sketch for July! See what I mean? No sweat! I see lots of possibilities. The red square could be a tag or a die cut panel, the blue square a stamped image.. it's up to you.

I love mixing papers - remember my trick - when they start eating each other or disappearing add a border of solid card stock. My sentiment seemed to blend into the papers too so I added a second banner of darker paper to help it stand out more.
The Wreath die cut is one of my favorites - I like to use it as a doily or a frame. On today's project it draws attention to the whale image and reminds me of water splashing.
