Are you hopping with us today? Serendipity Stamps is showing their latest release with peeks at the new stamps and dies in the store! If you are hopping you should have reached me from Vickie Zimmer's Blog! If you'd like to start from the beginning you can get all the details here - at Mary's Blog!
There's some blog candy up for grabs so grab a cuppa and join us!
We've got some brand new word dies to share this time - first "Get Well"! I cut this one twice - once in aqua and once in gold. The layering makes this easy to read and sparkly at the same time.
I wanted to use the 50% off stamp of the month - Adirondack Chair to show you how pretty it is - even if you don't like to color - all the detail is brilliant in bold embossing !
Just a close up here so you can see the little wood look sequins you can find at Serendipity. Since they're neutral the go with just about everything!
The rare card I never make is a Sympathy card. I have a hard enough time expressing my feelings of loss with trying to think of something to make. And I can't create when my mind is in turmoil. Better to make a few cards ahead of time and have them on hand and can focus on what I want to say instead.
The dye is beautiful - look at all the swirly curves to the letters. Again I double cut this one - so the gold paper on bottom is just a peek - I want this to be elegant and subtle.
Do you love that stitched scallop border on the left? That's from Pretty Pink Posh! Mary knows how well these dies work with her stamps so she stocks them at Serendipity! I'm reaching for them constantly and never put them away - I think you'll love them too!
Mary's also offering free shipping on all orders $20 and up USA only now through Sunday April 24.
Ready to see what the rest of the team made? You're next stop is Jenny Gropp. But before you go... make sure you leave me a comment. Mary will be choosing one comment from all the blogs on the hop to receive a $20 gift certificate from the store.
